Minha cidade/ My city

Olá. Hoje volto para postar nosso último trabalho antes das férias de julho, que é mostrar a cidade em que vivo para vocês. Monteiro é uma cidade de cerca de 31 mil habitantes que fica na região do estado da Paraíba denominada Cariri. A cultura monteirense é muito rica, e mesmo morando aqui há apenas 6 meses eu já vi muito dessa cultura, a começar pelo forró, que é cultura tipicamente nordestina.


Hello Today I return to post our last work before the July holidays, which is to show the city in which I live for you. Monteiro is a town of about 31,000 inhabitants which lies in the state of Paraíba called Cariri. The monteirense culture is very rich, and even living here for only 6 months I've seen a lot of this culture, starting with forró, which is typically Northeastern culture.

Nesta primeira foto, vemos uma banda de pífanos com trajes de cangaceiros, que eram pessoas que viviam aqui no nordeste. Uma história bem popular sobre cangaceiros é a história de amor entre Lampião e Maria Bonita, que eram cangaceiros.

In this first picture we see a band of outlaws fives with costumes, they were people who lived here in the northeast. One very popular story about bandits is the love story between Lampião and Maria Bonita, who were outlaws.

Monteiro é também uma cidade de muita fé religiosa, e possui uma igreja que é linda tanto por fora quanto por dentro.

Monteiro is also a city of great religious faith, and has a church that is beautiful both outside and inside.

Monteiro conta com várias praças, monumentos, áreas sociais e apesar de se localizar em uma região extremamente seca, é um cidade muito arborizada. Abaixo, estão fotos desses locais que encantam todos os que chegam.

Monteiro has several squares, monuments, and social areas despite being located in an extremely dry region, is a heavily wooded town. Below are pictures of these places that enchant all who come.

Essa é a foto do jegue que existe em frente a uma loja da cidade, e que encanta turistas.

This is the photo of the donkey that is in front of a store in town, and that enchants tourists.

Esta foto e a de cima são fotos do Mercado Público, onde se vende de tudo um pouco, de roupas a comida.

This photo and above are photos of the Public Market, where they sell a little of everything from clothing to food.

Já estas duas são fotos da feira de rua que existe também em nossa cidade.

Have these two are photos of the street fair that also exists in our city.

Essa é uma das áreas que eu mais gosto na minha escola. Ela consiste em um pátio bem arborizado e com flores, muito lindo.

This is one of the areas that I like in my school. It consists of a well-wooded courtyard and flowers, very beautiful.

E após um longo dia tirando fotos, ver esse pôr do sol na porta de casa não tem preço.

And after a long day taking pictures, see this sunset on the door of the house is priceless. 

Essas foram algumas das minhas fotos, eu gostaria de ter postado mais, mas eu acabei tendo problemas com a internet. Bem, pra terminar, eu queria dizer que eu gostei dessa experiência de intercâmbio cultural, que apesar de curta foi bem proveitosa. Espero que possamos conversar futuramente. Tchau!

These were some of my photos, I would have posted more, but I ended up having problems with the internet. Well, to finish, I wanted to say that I enjoyed this experience of cultural exchange, which although short was well worthwhile. I hope we can talk in the future. Bye!

Primeiro trabalho/ First work

       Olá. Hoje eu volto para expor o nosso primeiro trabalho de foto montagem. Deveríamos escolher uma imagem e fazer uma fotomontagem com ela, fotografar o desenvolvimento do trabalho e o produto final. Aí abaixo estão as fotos do meu trabalho, que fiz com minhas colegas Lara e Alane.


       Hello. Today I come to expose our first work of photo montage. We should choose an image and make a collage with it, shoot development work and the final product. Here below are the photos of my work, which I made with my colleagues Lara and Alane.

Me Apresentando/ Introducing me

Olá, meu nome é Daniela Vidal Nardin, tenho 14 anos e estudo no 1º ano do ensino médio do Colégio Nossa Senhora de Lourdes na cidade de Monteiro, na Paraíba.
O Brasil é um país com uma cultura bem diversificada, que muda de estado para estado, e apesar de ter vindo de outro estado, eu já conheço bastante da cultura local. A cultura da região Nordeste, aonde o estado da Paraíba está localizado, é muito rica. Na música, temos o forró, que é ritmo natural dessa região, além de muitos outros. A literatura também é muito diversificada nessa região, com autores conhecidos por todo o país. Outras áreas desenvolvidas aqui são a fotografia e a pintura/desenho, favorecidas pelas belas paisagens aqui encontradas.
Esse ano, a escola em que eu estudo completou 70 anos de história em Monteiro. Foram realizados vários trabalhos, projetos e festas em homenagem e à ela, e pessoas de várias localidades vieram comemorar conosco.
E isso é um pouquinho da cultura do meu país e estado. :)



Hello, my name is Daniela Vidal Nardin, I am 14 years old and I study in 1st year of of fear learning os Colégio Nossa Senhora de Lourdes in the city of Monteiro, state of Paraíba.
The Brazil is a country with a very diverse culture, that changes from state to state, and despite coming from another state, I know enough of the local culture. The culture of the northeast, where the state of Paraíba is located, is very rich. In the music, we have the forró, who is a rhythm natural of that region, plus many other. The literature is also very diverse in this region, with known authors throughout the country. Another areas developed here are photography and painting / drawing, favored by the beautiful landscapes found here.
In this year, the school where I study completed 70 years of history in Monteiro.Several studies, projects and celebrations and her and people from various localities came to celebrate with us were done.
And that's a little bit of culture my country and state. :)
